The All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, popularly known as AIISH, is a pioneer national organization advancing the causes of human resource development, research, clinical care and public education on communication disorders. The institute was established in the year 1966 as an autonomous institute fully funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It is a unique institute in the Asian sub-continent which houses 11 departments having state-of-the-art facilities to offer inter-disciplinary research and training. The major objectives of the institute are to impart professional training, render clinical services, conduct research and educate the public on issues related to communication disorders such as hearing impairment, voice, fluency, phonological and language disorders. The IALP Audiology convention is scheduled to be held between 25th and 27th August 2022 in All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru in virtual mode. Conference Highlights

The highlights of the conference are scientific paper presentation (platform and poster), panel discussions and plenary sessions. The invited talk and plenary sessions will be brainstormed by professional working across the globe. The goals of the conference are to understand the global perspectives on hearing, speech and language disability certification and to shortlist practice protocols and recommendations on inclusion of conditions such as Tinnitus, Giddiness and ANSD in measuring hearing disability percentage. The participants would include students as well as professional audiologists and speech language pathologists.
